Okay, so again, apologies to those of you who didn't receive our 'official' Christmas card. We claim the sanctuary of new parenting and the chaos that comes with it.Also, contrary to popular misconception, the way that I look in this picture was only partly because I was tired and worn out from having a newborn.
The real reason I look the way that I do is that this was actually picture number 38 or 39 out of 40ish that we took specifically for this card. I've never been one to want to pose for pictures, and after many duplicates of various poses were taken (mostly because Cooper wasn't aimed in the right direction) I just didn't feel like smiling anymore.
Having a camera that didn't take good pictures (and was also the cause of my displeasure) wasn't helping my attitude. We've gotten a new one recently, so some of the older pictures on here won't be as good as the newer ones...
Anyway, in the true spirit of the holidays, Cooper managed to take some pictures and look like a sleeping angel, Tobi looks like the perfect mother/wife, and I managed to look pretty beat down.
Oh well, there's always next year....
