Who says pets don't teach kids anything?

A few weeks back, Cooper was really in the habit of emptying this soft leopard print box we use to store his books. He didn't really do much with it; carried it around and took the bottom brace out and played with that mostly.

So, I was getting some food ready for him and he was dragging the empty box back and forth, then it was quiet for a little too long. I found him just like this:





He couldn't be more proud of his accomplishment!

Here's some video of him trying to get back into the box (after he 'fell' out). I think he somehow forgot that the first time he got in, he must have braced himself on the sofa to get in successfully. It's pretty obvious that he didn't just get in without bracing himself...
