Last Year's Birthday Party

As promised, here are some select photographs (digital no less!) from last years combined "Cooper and Hudson Birthday Extravaganza".
Very timely.

Anyway, it was a construction themed party of Cooper's choosing. Hudson didn't have much to say at all about the theme.

The official cake. Officially sitting on the official birthday table.

The aforementioned official birthday table!

Mommy, Jampy and (soon to be) birthday boy. Looks sleepy? He woke up from his nap to party. What a champ!

Mommy and (recent) birthday boy. Not sure why he looks tired.

Hudson's birthday (cup)cake. This was probably the last time we gave him something to eat that he didn't finish.

Hudson post cupcake. Notably unimpressed. It could be that he is not normally asked to perform his eating tricks in front of a large crowd.

Party-goers. (Babies do indeed put a cramp in the way parties are thrown... the jello shots only have jello now.)

Jammy and Uncle Thomas. He hadn't eaten vegetables before eating some cake, so Jammy was about to put the hammer down. (Metaphorically?)
Also, we realized after the fact that the inflatable hammers were the worst type of party favor (for all the boys that were at the party). Very easy to run with, even easier to hammer on other children. Also easy to pretend the hammer is a sword, and sword fight with...
Big apologies to all other parents. Next year we'll try a knitting/darning tea party theme to keep things a little more calm...

Present opening craziness.

Spectators.

Construction toys! Score!

Stacking blocks! (Many have been chewed/stood on since and are currently not quite as stackable.)
