This was the mouse that we knew was around but couldn't quite catch. I finally figured out where the access point was! The boys named him "Mousey Wilde" and we did another catch and release. Not like Turtle Wilde though. I'm sure the City of Murphy would not want this guy hanging around the city hall pond. Mousey Wilde went to live near a creekbed a few miles away. (Seriously. That's not like a farm upstate or anything.)
Hudson sleeping on the sofa. These guys have never been big 'nap where you can' kinda guys (mostly because I'm crazy schedule guy), so when they do crash I like evidence.
This begins the pictures from our nice weekish long vacation down to Port O'Connor.
We stopped to see Rob and Jen on the way down. Met for lunch at the (holy moly wow) rebuilt Oasis out on Lake Travis. Great to see them, and we had fun!
This picture was after lunch on the way down to Port O'Connor. The sun was a bit bright, and Cooper wore my visor for awhile. So cute.
This was the first morning in Port O'Connor. The boys slept together for the first time and they did okay. Cooper was a little upset that first night because Hudson kept bumping into him, but they got used to it and did great!
Hudson playing guitar.
The Johnsons came down for a few days to relax with us as well.
The swingset down at the beach.
Mommy and the boys. Excited for the beach.
First time for the boys at the beach. (We know, it's a Texas beach so it "doesn't really count". All you East Coasters and Florida folks need to give us a break!!) The water was knee high almost to the end of the pier and adjacent to a breakwater, so no big waves. Perfect for two kiddos who had never been (and nervous parents).
Groupish photo.
Back toward the shoreline. Kids still uncertain.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the beach pictures! July '12 Parts 3 and 4!
