Visit from the great white north!

On a happier note, here are a few pictures from a brief visit with the Apps as they were on their way through to visit family for the holidays. Thanks to Summer and Dee for hosting the somewhat impromptu gathering!

(Showing off my crazy daddy skillz!)

Pictures with Dad

Here are a few pictures with Dad, Me and Coop the weekend after Christmas. We went down to Houston to hang out for a few hours as that was about all he could manage without wiping himself out. (And yes, I'm too lazy at this point to correct the red-eye in me and Coop.)

Some pics with Pops!

Cooper is saying hey get that camera out of here...or, uh, mom, you have something on your face...
We also had a visit from Pops this week...these two had lots of fun together! Dad was tickling Cooper's neck then tummy...Cooper was hysterical and just loved it! There's some video that's fun from the past few days...I'll let Ross put that up on here because I do not know how! :-)

The Christmas Series Continued Even More

Cooper did eventually decide to play with a few of his new toys. Actually, he was forced to play with his toys because we had to clean up for later in the day when Tobi's in-town family came over for Christmas dinner.

I had to post this one because what he was doing reminded me of Gary Larson's Far Side 'School For the Gifted' cartoon. Unfortunately, I was unable to catch him actually doing the hand-on-the-door thing, but I promise he was doing it!!

I'm not sure what exactly was going on here with Grammy, but I thought it was a funny picture. It's like they're looking for a contact lens!?

Even though the bib says "Merry Christmas", I don't think Cooper was in a festive mood at this point. He may have been contemplating how to get his hands on another box or some tissue paper.

The Christmas Series Continued

Here are some great pictures from Christmas morning.

A musical snow globe that turned out to be one of Cooper's favorite toys. In fact, it is the only Christmas item still not put away. Unfortunately, the battery runs low quickly; rendering 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' almost unrecognizable.

Cooper learning to rip the paper. Well, more like practicing. If he holds any paper long enough, it's going to get ripped.

Books!

Already reading on his own. My how quickly they grow.

What is this toy called 'Box'? It's the most amazing thing. I want to carry it around all day.

Clothes? That sucks. I want more boxes.

Cat treats? Seriously? I'm calling CPS.

Hmmmm. New red firetruck that rolls? Or...

The paper it came wrapped in.
