Just prior to this, Cooper was 'talking' to one of our cats. This has turned into a common occurrence recently; Cooper wants to talk and/or play, cat disappears into the distance.
Needless to say that we're okay with the cat just running off instead of getting scared and standing his ground.

A Few Cute Pics
vehicle safety lesson
Cooper got a new tricycle type thing over the holidays and hasn't quite figured out how to use it. Either that or he's still too preoccupied trying to figure out if the thing is actually safe enough to ride. (Or maybe he's prepping for a future in car-repair.)
Seat? Check.

Rear wheel spin ratio? Check.

Front right tire pressure? Check.

Finally! Done with '08.
Okay. With a few exceptions, we're pretty much those lame type of people who disappear off the face of the earth once they have a kid.
This means that our New Years Eve has gotten a lot more exciting. Want proof?
The Cornell New Years Eve '08 Spectacular:
The stockings (and cats) were hung by the fireplace with care. Just kidding - no animals were harmed during the production of these photos.

David stopped by for a little while. Then he realized it wasn't going to get more exciting, so he went back to Arlington and found a party that was a little more happening. I'm pretty sure this photo is evidence of him making fun of me for being "lame".

Self portrait at midnight. (Okay, it was some time after midnight - Cooper woke up at 11:58ish and we were occupied putting him back to sleep.) Don't we look fancy?

Happy (Belated) New Year.

Journey to the Tribute!
Over the holidays we also took Cooper to The Tribute, where Tobi and I were married, to take a few pictures.
Cooper running around in the ballroom, where the reception occurred.

Cooper wanting to be put down so he could run around in the ballroom more.

Cooper, Tobi and I standing in front of the gazebo where we exchanged vows.

Coop and Mom.

Coop and Dad. (Go Steelers)

Coop running around (and falling occasionally) on the lawn by the gazebo. He has a texture issue, so he currently does not like the feel of grass. So, when he fell, he wouldn't put his hands down on it to push himself back up!
