why wait for prom or a wedding to embarass your child?

If memory serves, this was Coop's first real big tub bath. Everyone was so excited that we ran around naked. Well, not everyone. Just Cooper really.

Also, if this post disappears, it's just because the authorities have informed us that Cooper is too good looking to appear in any form of undress on the internet.

Really? We're not going to use this one?

Are you sure? 'Cause I do fit in that pretty well.

It is a little liberating to run around like this. I think I'll express my glee by hitting the big tub with the bottle of body wash.

Have you guys seen that scene in Austin Powers...

You're gonna need a bigger boat.

From the Superbowl

Okay, not literally from the Superbowl - just how things looked around our house during the Superbowl.
Pictures of Cooper mostly from pregame and early in the game. Unfortunately (for him) he had to go to bed before the game was over.
I, on the other hand, had to watch the whole thing and almost barf on the floor when Arizona scored to take the lead late in the 4th Q. Thankfully, everything worked out for the best and I wasn't forced to ruin any of our belongings.

This one cracks me up because it looks like he's tried to pick his nose, but missed.

eating schmeating...

he's either practicing to stir his food like his mom stirs food, or he's a future drummer

SNOWDAY! Pt.2

Tobi still trying to convince Cooper that snow is not to be feared. Meanwhile, Cooper is staring at the house, trying to communicate telepathically 'Inside the house it's warm. Inside the house it's warm.' With no success.

Can't you tell I'm cold?

Maybe it would help if Grammy helped Cooper get used to the snow!

Maybe not.

Seriously. Maybe not.

Well, at least all the other kids (even the older ones - you know 30yr. +) are enjoying themselves in the snow!

Even Sebastian is enjoying himself in his sled. Maybe Cooper would like that?

Maybe not.

So, in the end, some folks played in the snow and roamed across the wintery wilderness.

And some were happier in the warm house, learning about the importance of remote controls.

SNOWDAY! Pt.1

Nothing quite as great as a snowday! (Except for the possibility of delays and/or cancellations when trying to get home...)

It must be early 'cause no one is wearing makeup.

Cooper was told there was snow, but being a Texan, he still didn't quite understand.

Who left a freezer open outside?

The natural beauty of winter in a picture (taken safely from the warmth of technology).

Tobi and Cooper out in the cold! Notice that she is happy. Also notice that Cooper seems wary.

Cooper on the snow.

Cooper letting everyone know that he doesn't like being on the snow. Really doesn't like being on the snow.

Back to safety. (Less crying, but freezing snot?)

Mom trying to convince Cooper that snow is not to be feared...

To be continued...
