May 2012

Ah, the Ides of May. I'm pretty sure that's right. What's an ide anyway?
Here are some good pictures from May.

Shirtlessness in Murphy.

Snuggling on the sofa.

Piling on Daddy. (And yes, perverts, I am wearing pants.)

Sunny day at Jammy's. Running!

Contemplating the grass.

Hammering some chalk.

Throwing a ball. Playin' catch.

Cooper and Mommy having a picnic lunch by the pool.

Aunt BiBi reading a book to the boys.

Right about now my thought was "She's doing great with all three boys. Maybe I'll go hit a happy hour."

Another classic bathtime photoshoot.

Soapy heads!

PopPop is in town! (That's another reason the Johnsons came to visit...) Looks like there were sports on the TV that PopPop was interested in watching.

Goodnight hugs!

A great picture of the boys with their PopPop.

Pile of grandsons on PopPop!

This looks like pre-bedtime lounging to me. They don't look like they just woke up anyway.

Go to bed!

April 2012

April Fools! Happy Easter! Sombre Holocaust Remembrance Day. Have a Healthy World Health Day. Um, Happy Tax Day, and don't crumple your 1040EZ instruction sheet and throw it on the ground to celebrate Earth Day. Happy Administrative Professionals' Day. And lest we forget, Anzac Day (AU & NZ). Oh. Plant a tree too, for Arbor Day.

We only have pictures for Easter though.

Here are a few:

This is not an Easter picture. This is a picture of Cooper using a toy tent as a kayak.

This is Tobi. Winning Employee of the Year. Again.

This is Cooper. Sitting on the Ottoman, looking a little devolved. What is that he's watching??

Oh, that explains it.

And just when you thought we were the more evolved. Here's Cooper showing us his best Ethel Merman (using a diaper as a hat, btw.)

Show us those pearly whites, dear.

This is a turtle we rescued from our pool. We named him "Turtle Wilde" and released him into the Murphy City Hall pond. (Hopefully the statute of limitations has expired on whatever ordinance we violated.)

More Turtle Wilde.

Hudson's new bedding arrives! (Where are those boys anyway?)

Ah ha!

March 2012

March was fun too, with a visit from CeCe. As usual, let's get to the pictures.

The boys and Uncle Cole.

Uncle Cole and CeCe.

CeCe reading to the boys.

More reading.

I don't remember why I put this picture here. But here are the boys watching TV, laying on the ottoman together.

Since it's already well documented, Cooper's interest in shoes continues into (and out of) Mommy's closet.

All the better to see himself in the mirror, I suppose.

Also had to try on Daddy's new flip flops, while trying on Mommy's flip flops. That's talent right there.

Hugs that look like wrestling!

Our old back door had a wood baseplate that was rotting. So we had to get a new door.
The installation happened while we were eating lunch. The boys shared the ear protectors as there were various drills and saws that were used.

No door!

No longer amused by the noise. (Hudson actually decided he was tired, and took a nap through the rest of the install.)

New door!

No more pictures, please.

February 2012

February might be the shortest month, but it's not the shortest on pictures!

Here is Hudson showing of some style with a new belt. (It's actually the headliner from a toy hardhat, but he was so proud...)

Pictures from Mommy's birthday!!

New blouse. (Maxie is not impressed, clearly.)

Necklace.

Cat. (Not new, or a present.)

Reading a card.

Hudson. Not new, or a present.

Maxie and Hudson playing in the wrapping paper.

Birthday cake on the special plate!

Self photo of birthday girl.

Cousin Jacob visiting again.

Everyone coming to see what the fuss is about. (Note Hudson totally bogarting Jacob's riding toy.)

Tobi gets a CatFancy subscription for her birthday!

This is the boys, um, helping with the presents.

Beautiful as usual.

This was just a random picture of Coop playing on his computer. Cute.
