Cooper will be one...

Wow! Can you believe it? Our sweet boy will be one this week! It seems like just yesterday that he was born into this world, and delivered safely into his parents' loving and expectant arms! We are so happy to have you here with us, my little boy...you make our lives complete! We love you so much! :-) Here's his 11 month picture. We go this week to get his one year portrait, and perhaps a visit to Santa! I'll post some Thanksgiving and other pics soon!

Long time, no post!

Well, I'm having networking problems so I've not been posting anything lately, but I was able to capture these sweet little pics to post from Ross' computer. We can't believe our angel is almost 1 yr old!!! He ate his first Cheerio whole today, and has learned in just the past two days to drink from a sippy cup! We're so proud of him! It's amazing to watch your child grow and change! Here's a pic of him with his baseball and a shirt mommy bought for him when in Boston, and next is one of Cooper with his basketball...I think he thinks it looks like one of the pumpkins from Halloween! (I think Mommy looks sort of Halloweenish here, actually...!) The last one is Cooper standing in his pack-n-play...he loves to stand up as soon as you put him in there! :-) We love you, Cooper! i might seem technologically capable

but it sure took me long enough to try this.

cooper really started figuring out the whole crawling thing in the middle of last week. he hadn't been working his legs correctly, and we were probably not helping by pandering to his desires to be walked around (sore back anyone?). anyway, here's two quick movie clips from yesterday spliced together to show everyone just how capable he now is of moving from point A to point B on his own (with some encouragement - forgive the bad "Jaws" music!).


p.s. - this weekend should be fun - we're going to spend it doing all the baby-proofing that we should have already done!
